Check and test a size guide
Every change to a size guide's draft is checked by Quizproof's server, with the same engine that will size your shoppers. The editor never works out a size on its own: what you see in the checks and the tester is what shoppers will get. For building the guide itself, see Build a size guide.
Reading the checks#
The Checks panel lists what the server's checker found in your draft:
Fix before publishing: publishing is off until these are fixed (one primary measurement, ranges in order, a fallback, ease on garment charts, …). Go to jumps to the cell.
Check: gaps or overlaps between sizes (with what a shopper there gets), values outside what people measure, half-measurement suspicion.
Notes: things worth knowing, like a fit note on a garment chart.
Boundary examples show what a shopper at each edge between two sizes gets, for example
91.0 cm → between M and L → L (size-up rule). Read them, then tick I checked these examples: publishing needs
the tick, and it clears whenever your changes move the examples.
The tester#
The Test tab answers like the size finder will, from the server's engine. Pick the draft or any published version, type the measurements (cm or inches, feet and inches for height, kg, lb or stones and pounds for weight), and Find the size. You see the size, each measurement's placement and range, the reasons in words, and whether the measurements agree. The tester takes either unit; on your product pages the size finder starts in the units set under Settings › Size finder, and shoppers can switch.
Pick a Product (one that uses the guide) to see what the size means for it: the option value it maps to
(Size = M) and each variant with that value, available or sold out (Black / M → #4567 · available). Availability is
your store's overall stock; on your store the size finder checks the shopper's market.
Menu paths such as Settings › Privacy are inside Quizproof: in your Shopify admin, open Apps › Quizproof. Where an article means Shopify's own settings, it says so.
